Bhutan trumps Hong Kong

Bhutan won its first match against Hong Kong in the ongoing Asian Cricket Council Under-19 Women Championship in Kuwait yesterday. The Bhutanese team won by 69 runs. They made 155-4 in 25 overs while Hong Kong made 86.

A teacher critically injured in bus accident

A bus carrying 79 students met with an accident, head-on, with a truck near Bongaigoan in the Indian State of Assam today. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The total revenue collected from the Corporate Income Tax (CIT) in the country has almost doubled this year. The revenue saw a growth rate of about 92 percent in the fiscal year 2010-2011.
