Medical-Team-Receive-AudienceHis Majesty The King personally thanked the medical team who served during and subsequent to the Royal Birth.

During an audience at the Lingkana Palace, His Majesty conveyed appreciation to the entire medical fraternity of Bhutan for their services to the country.

The medical team of doctors and health staff from the ministry of health has also been involved in providing post-natal care.

Besides the medical team, representatives from the health sector, and His Majesty’s Kidu Mobile Medical Unit team were invited to tea at the Lingkana Palace, coincident with His Royal Highness turning a hundred days old.

The Kidu Mobile Medical Unit of doctors and health staff from the Royal Bhutan Army, travels to remote areas within Bhutan, setting up medical camps to provide services to people living in the more inaccessible parts of Bhutan.

A press release from the Royal Office of Media says also among those invited were Dasho Dr. Tandin Dorji, and Col. Dr. Leki Wangdi (retd), who attended to His Majesty as a Prince.

The group received audience with His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, and offered Tashi Lekdhar to His Royal Highness.

His Royal Highness The Gyalsey was born in Lingkana Palace on February 5, 2016.
