A five-day Moenlam Chhenmo of Trashi Yangtse Dzongkhag began on Saturday. It is being presided over by His Holiness the Je Khenpo.
Our reporter, Kinzang Wangdi, says around three hundred monks, lay monks and nuns are performing the ceremony.
Over a thousand devotees from in and around the Dzongkhag are attending the Moenlam Chenmo.
It is being performed for the long life of the King, for peace and prosperity in the Country and for the well-being of all sentient beings.
