The COVID-19 suspects at the quarantine centres once again tested negative. According to the Prime Minister, the Health Ministry conducted a test yesterday on those suspects who came in direct contact with the 76-year-old COVID-19 patients.

The suspects are in quarantine centres since 5th March.

“The situation is the same for now. We haven’t detected any new case with COVID-19. Though  we have tested around 200 people so far, we don’t have any new case.  Those suspects at the quarantine centres who had the direct contact with the patient, we tested them again yesterday and they tested negative once again,” said Dr Lotay Tshering, the Prime Minister.

The lone confirmed COVID-19 patient is still at the isolation ward of the Ophthalmology suite. And according to the Prime Minister, the patient is attended to by additional experts with the latest treatment.
