Sherubtse graduate tops BCSE

An English Honours graduate from Sherutse College, Kinley Zam topped the Bhutan Civil Service Examination (BCSE) under the Post Graduate Diploma for Public Administration category. She scored 69.23 percent.

In technical category, a medical graduate from Sri Lanka, Sandeep Kumar Sanyasi topped with 75.01 percent.

Under Dzongkha category, a graduate from Institute of Language and Cultural Studies, Tseten Dorji took the first place with 68.82 percent.

Almost 2,500 university graduates appeared for the examination.

Last year, some 1,500 graduates sat for the BCSE.

The Royal Civil Service Commission has announced 489 vacancies in the civil service.   They will be filled by the end of this month based on merit ranking of the graduates.
