Two men are under Samtse Police custody for allegedly battering a 32-year-old sports teacher of Panbari Primary School under Tading Gewog.
According to the teacher, the incident occurred after his student’s father enquired him about the utilisation of fund generated through an annual open football tournament. He said 10 men attacked him when he was about to clarify.
Some parents accuse the sports teacher of misusing the money collected from the public for schooling purposes. Police are investigating the case.
