Indian police help recover 50 percent of ransomSidli Police Station in Assam, India, was able to recover 50 percent of Nu 2 M, family members of two Bhutanese kidnapped had paid as ransom. The police had arrested the kidnappers shortly after the incident in February, this year.

The family members of a boy, 16, and truck driver collected the money on May 13.

The two were abducted from Sarpang on February 22.

They were released after the ransom had been paid.

Gelegphu Police refused to comment on the issue.
