The annual Tsirang Tsechu began today. During the three-day Tsechu, various mask dances like the Shenjikuencham, Zhana Phurcham, Youlimcham, Shawa Ganglay Bapaicham, Dri-gingcham will be performed. Hundreds of people dressed in their finest gathered to witness the first day of the Tsechu. The Tsechu will end with unfurling of Guru TshengayThongdrel. TsirangTshechu was first introduced in 1998.
