Gelephu police collects biometric data of teachers at BCSEA evaluation camp

Police in Gelephu has started collecting biometric data of teachers who came for the evaluation of Class VIII, X and XII examination papers. This is as part of the ongoing investigation to find out how the answer scripts of four subjects of 40 students from Trashitse higher secondary school in Trashigang went missing. The two-week-long evaluation camp ended today.

BCSEA officials filed a case with the Gelephu Police last week after they found out that envelopes containing answer sheets of English Paper II, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics were missing. 600 teachers from various parts of the country came for the evaluation camp.
