Paro police are awaiting a DNA test report to confirm an alleged rape of a nun by two accused. The test is being done in Kolkatta.
The alleged rape took place on July 23, according to police.
The complainant, in her statement, said the men gave her a lift and raped her on the way. She said the accused also took away her Samsung smartphone.
Both the suspects were arrested but later released.
The men said it was not rape but consensual and that only the driver was involved.
As for the accusation concerning the phone, police investigation revealed the complainant did not own one.
