High Quality FC defeated Gomo FC 4-1 in the ongoing BoB Bhutan Premier League at Punakha today. The first half ended with just a goal in favour of High Quality FC. A lone tailor in Dorokha teaching tailoring to other women

In business, you keep what you know to yourself to enjoy a monopoly and maximise your profit. But 29-year-old Leki Wangmo, the lone tailor of Dorokha town in Samtse, has a different approach. She believes that knowledge only increases when it is shared. Today, despite enjoying the monopoly of tailoring business in the town, Leki is helping the Dorokha Dungkhag in producing more tailors. As part of the community learning centre programme, she is currently teaching some 18 women the basics of tailoring.

Ice cream manufacturing unit to come to the rescue of dairy farmers in Gelegphu

Dairy farmers in Gelegphu are looking forward to an ongoing construction of an ice cream manufacturing unit at Shetikhari. The unit is some four kilometers away from Gelegphu town. It is expected to help farmers help sell their milk.

Towards building a stronger food system
