Three people were injured in Gelegphu when a Bolero carrying 23 people met with an accident at around 2 AM today.
They were heading towards Senggye Gewog after attending a marriage ceremony at Sechamthang. A 17-year-old boy, who was critically injured, was airlifted to the National Referral Hospital. Drunk driving and carrying excess passengers are suspected to have caused the accident. Police have detained the driver for investigation.
