India-MoreArmedPersonnelTrainingThe Indian government has assured that they will provide more training slots for the Bhutanese Armed Personnel. The assurance was given at the sidelines of the 8th round of Bhutan and India’s meeting on border management and security.

The two day meeting ended yesterday.

The meeting saw extensive deliberation on issues related to security along the borders for the mutual benefits of the two countries.

“There were issues pertaining to border guarding, the activities of our security forces and also our intelligence sharing mechanism. We reviewed the whole scenario and found that many mechanisms have been put in place,” said the India’s Secretary of Border Management A.K.Mangotra.
