NCWC’s women and children operation services transferred to The PEMA Secretariat

The Women and Children Division, Secretariat to the National Commission for Women and Children has transferred the operation services to The PEMA Secretariat. It was officially handed over on Wednesday. The operation services include Women and Children Helpline 1098 services, along with Protection, Adoption, and Alternative Care services.

According to the NCWC, they will hand over 200 active cases of domestic violence, aftercare, foster care and kinship to THE PEMA Secretariat. This has been done upon the approval of the cabinet and the Royal Civil Service Commission’s directives, which were issued last year.
