The Tobacco Quota Outlet in Samdrup Jongkhar disposed damaged tobacco products worth more than Nu 860,000 last week. An official from the outlet said soaring temperature and lack of ventilation in the quarantine could have damaged the products. Officials also suspect that they could have been damaged from the source. They said, to avoid such damages, they will reduce the import.

Today, the outlet sells tobacco products worth Nu 150,000 to 200,000 every day.
