The Health Minister during the press brief yesterday said that hospitals in the country continue to provide services like vaccination for children, child delivery, dental services, cataract surgeries and other medical services.

Lyonpo informed that people have been hesitant to avail medical services and that some diabetic patients have not visited hospitals to get medicines due to the fear of the virus.

“We are delivering everyday health services, so I want to request people to get the services,” said Lyonpo.

Lyonpo said that people who need these services should follow safety protocols in place while availing the services. The health minister advised the people to practice physical distancing and follow appointment system while availing medical services.
