Ambassador of Czech Republic to India, Miloslav Stasek, called on the Prime Minister Jigmi Y Thinley at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang today. The Ambassador spoke on the several areas of possible co-operation between the two countries and how Czech Republic wishes to intensify and strengthen its relationship with Bhutan in all aspects.

LyonchhOen said the prospects of co-operation between the two countries are very encouraging and that he welcomes all the ideas wholeheartedly.

Bhutan established formal diplomatic relations with Czech Republic in December 2011. Ambassador Stasek is on a four-day visit to Bhutan as a special envoy of the Deputy Foreign Minister and will leave the country on May 11.
