Eighteen basketball players are undergoing a rigorous training in the Capital. The players were selected during the Coronation Cup tournament held earlier this month.

According to the Coach, Kiyong Kim, the players will be trained to participate in international tournaments.

Bhutan will take part in the Haiyang Asian Beach Games in China and later in the SAARC Games in Delhi.

The Bhutan Basketball Federation will select 4 players for the China games and 12 players for the SAARC games from 18 years and above players.

They will practice four times a week for two hours.
