Four stabbed in two separate incidents

Four men were stabbed in two separate incidents in Thimphu and Gelephu yesterday.

Three men, aged 19, 24 and 25, were stabbed after a fight broke out among seven men in Gelephu last night.

The stabling took place at around 10 pm in the heart of Gelephu town.

Of the three, one is being treated at the Gelephu regional hospital. The other two have been discharged from the hospital.

This is the second stabbing case in Gelephu in two months.

In another unrelated incident, two men have been apprehended after they stabbed a man in Thimphu yesterday.

According to the statement to the police, they stabbed the man because he dashed into them while they were walking through the town.
