Two men are under Gaeddu Police Custody for allegedly possessing more than 3,000 pieces of pharmaceutical drugs.
Police apprehended the suspects at Gaeddu after a tip-off. The suspects, a driver and the passenger were on their way to the capital from Phuentshogling.
The controlled substances were concealed in the bonnet of their car. The 24 and 27 years old suspects run a shop.
According to Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Substance Abuse Act, 2015, the suspects will be sentenced to a minimum of nine years in prison if convicted.
