The Phuentsholing police have apprehended four suspects in connection with a stabbing case of a 21-year-old man. The suspects, all in their early twenties, were apprehended on the night of January 1, after the incident was reported. Of the four suspects, two are of Indian origin.
According to the victim, he had encountered the suspects in one of the alleys in the town, while on his way home from a party. He said he saw them quarreling with a girl. “I had intervened and was trying to settle the quarrel when one of the suspects stabbed me on my stomach.”
The police had found the victim lying on the ground when they arrived on the scene.
