A new shelter for animals in Serbithang

Jangsa Animal Shelter-Serbithang,Jangsa Animal Trust Fund inaugurated an animal shelter in Serbithang in Thimphu, today. This provides shelter to stray animals and those released from tsethar.

The new animal shelter is funded by Brigitte Bardot Foundation based in France.

The opening of a home with clinic facilities in the vicinity, by the Jangsa Animal Shelter, is an important milestone in efforts to save animals.


The Founder of Jangsa Animal Trust Fund, Lam Kunzang Dorjee, says saving lives of all beings is the most beneficial action of all relative good actions.

The newly inaugurated Jangsa Animal Shelter will soon have an ambulance and a utility van for emergencies. Today, the Jangsa Animal Trust Fund has 12 animal shelters across the country.
