Thousands of people gathered at the Tendrelthang in Thimphu to receive blessings from His Holiness the Je Khenpo, today.
His Holiness administered the Zhabdrung Dag Nag Mai Wang to the gathering.
It was organised by the Jigten Wangchuk Tshogpa.
Organisers said the blessing was for the successful celebrations of the 60th birth anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo and the well-being of all sentient beings.
