More than 74 per cent of the class ten students passed the Bhutan Certificate of Secondary Education, BCSE 2024. The Bhutan Council for School Examinations and Assessment declared the results for classes ten and six today. According to BCSEA, the pass percentage for both classes ten and six has increased compared to 2023.

Over 9,000 students registered for the BCSE examination for class ten of which over 8,900 students appeared in the exam.

The class ten national topper for 2024 is Tashi Dhendup from Zilukha Middle Secondary School, scoring 95 per cent.

“I am grateful to my family and teachers for their support. I was very happy with the outcome, and it makes me proud to know that they share in my joy.”

Chencho Nedup from Loseling Middle Secondary School bagged the second position with 94.4 per cent.

“I am very happy about the result. It is not my effort alone. I want to thank the teachers, the school and my parents who have always supported me. I also want to thank my friends who have helped me to achieve a good result.”

Rangjung Central School’s Lhawang Tshokey scored 94 per cent, securing the third position.

“Securing third place at the national level is a surreal moment for me. This journey has been a mix of hard work, self-doubt and growth. And I owe this success to my teachers, family and friends who believed in me.”
