His Majesty grants dhar to appoint Dzongdags

His Majesty The King granted Dhar to appoint the Dzongdags of Bumthang, Haa, and Trongsa at the Tashichhodzong today. 

Kesang Choden Dorji, who was serving as the Director-General of the Department of Adult and Higher Education, has been appointed as the new Bumthang Dzongdag.

Rabgye Tobden, who was serving as Director in the Directorate Services of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, is the new Haa Dzongdag. Phub Rinzin, who was the Director of the Construction Development Board, is the new Trongsa Dzongdag.

In accordance with Article 2.19 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan, His Majesty The King appoints Dzongdags on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, who obtains nominations from the Royal Civil Service Commission.
