His Holiness the Je Khenpo administered a ground breaking ceremony for the construction of Sidhok Chorten in Samtse, today.
The Sidhok Chorten is dedicated to the 60th Birth Anniversary of the fourth Druk Gyalpo and for the peace, longevity and happiness in the country.
The 30 feet tall chorten is being built from the funds contributed by civil servants, local leaders, Business Community and the Public of Samtse in celebrating the 60th Anniversary next year.
It will be built at the crossroad next to the Samtse Dzong.
