Phuentshogling Dungkhag Court sentenced a 28-year-old man to four and a half years while another 20- year-old man to two and a half years for attempting to smuggle drugs.
The judgement passed yesterday stated that the convicts were arrested from the border gate last month in possession of SP+ capsules, nitrosun tablets and marijuana.
The judgement also said they tested positive for drugs and both have past records of similar crimes.
