Wamrong Dungkhag in Trashigang finally got a fuel depot yesterday, much to the relief of the local residents. Local residents BBS spoke to said they need not travel all the way to Trashigang or Samdrup Jongkhar to fuel their cars.
The Bhutan Oil Corporation depot is located at Romzor, along the Samdrup Jongkhar-Trashigang Highway. It will start supplying LPG cylinders in a week or two.
The Home and Cultural Affairs Minister Minjur Dorji who graced the opening encouraged the residents to use LPG stoves to cut down firewood consumption.
