50 households appeal for electricity re-connection fall on deaf ears

People living in huts by the Amochu River in Phuentshogling have not been able to meet the municipality officials to appeal for the electricity reconnection. Close to a 50-household have been living without electricity for the past six days now.

Matter of great urgency to provide high-end tourism to Indian tourists: PM

More than a year ago, over a 100,000 tourists from India visited Bhutan. Over 200 new species discovered in Eastern Himalayas

Scientists from various organisations have discovered over 200 new species in the Eastern Himalayas between 2009-14. Of the total, 15 new species were found in Bhutan, according to a report called “Hidden Himalayas”, by the World Wildlife Fund.
