A Mani Dungdrup recitation has begun in Wangdue Phodrang for the successful reconstruction of the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, and also for the well-being of the King, country, and the people.

The Indian Community gathered at the Indian Embassy in Thimphu to celebrate India’s 65th Republic day, earlier today.The celebration began with the hoisting of Indian national flag. Late Lopon Kinley Gyeltshen was cremated, today, at the Lekshed Jungney Shedra in Punakha. The funeral was presided over by His Holiness the Je Khenpo and the five Lopons of the Zhung Dratshang.
