Lyonchhen hosts banquet in honour of Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, hosted a banquet in honour of  the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, at the Royal Banquet Hall, yesterday evening.

On his arrival at the banquet hall, Prime Minister Narandra Modi was received by Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay. He was then given an introduction to the guests.


Guests included the Cabinet Ministers, and senior government officials of Bhutan and India. Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay raised a toast in honour of the good relations between the two countries

Mr. Modi said that he had coined a new term during his visit to Bhutan. B for B which means Bhutan for Bharat, and Bharat for Bhutan. Bharat means India in Hindi.

Mr. Modi said the two countries must strive to strengthen the existing relations between the two countries.
