BhuVQatar Bhutan lost to Qatar, 3-0, in the World Cup qualifiers played at Changlimethang stadium, yesterday.

Qatar is the first Asian country to qualify for the third round of World Cup qualifiers after yesterday’s win.
Qatar’s Muntari scored the first goal in 22nd minute.

Despite strong defense by the Bhutanese team, Qatar went on to score two more goals in the 36th and 90th minute. Al Haidos had scored both the goals.

Yesterday’s match was Bhutan’s last home game. Bhutan will play its last match for the qualifiers against the Maldives in March, next year.

Currently, Bhutan stands at 180th position in the FIFA rankings.
