Education Minister Yeezang De Thapa said the ministry will propose teacher transfers for discussion in the Parliament this year to address challenges faced by teachers. She said this while responding to the Nganglam MP, who questioned the fairness of the policy in the National Assembly today. The MP said many rural teachers aren’t transferred even after completing their mandatory three-year term.
