More than 3000 acres of forest were destroyed by a fire in Dramedtse, Monggar.
The fire, which raged on uncontrollably for a week, was finally put out yesterday.
No damage to lives and properties has been reported.
Forest officials say the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
