(U-13 football update) In the final match of the Asian Football Confederation U-13 Girls’ football tournament in Sri Lanka today, Bhutan suffered a humiliating defeat to India. Bhutan conceded 13 goals to Nil. However, Bhutan bagged the fourth position.
India came first, followed by Iran and then the host country, Sri Lanka. According our reporter, Yeshey Tshokey, the Bhutanese officials were satisfied with the girls’ performance this year.
They said that they played better even if they suffered defeat from India by huge margin.
Jordan and Palestine took the fifth and sixth position respectively.
