The Sixth Annual Moenlam Chenmo or the Great Prayer Ceremony in Samtse began today. His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over the week long ceremony.
A Tshewang or blessing for a long life will also be administered by His Holiness the Je Khenpo. The Moenlam Chenmo will conclude on Monday.
Prior to the Moenlam Chenmo, His Holiness has been in few of the gewogs in Samtse either consecrating Lhakhang or performing prayers, visiting Hindu temple; and conducting Wang in Tendruk earlier this week.
