DPT reveals their North Thimphu candidate

North Thimphu candidate, Chencho Nidup in the middle with the Opposition Leader, Dr. Pema Gyamtsho (Right) & MP Khandu Wangchuk (Left)

Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) introduced their candidate for North Thimphu Constituency, today. Chencho Nidup, 30, from Taba in Thimphu will contest against Tshering of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) whom PDP introduced yesterday.

Chencho, with bachelors in business administration from Jodhpur University in Rajasthan, is a businessman.

The by-election to fill the North Thimphu seat will be held before November this year. North Thimphu’s MP, Kinga Tshering resigned to pursue study abroad.
