(Update): Thimphu police have detained a student in connection with the death of a 26-year-old Radio Jockey. Sources say the police were able to track down the suspect while tracing the deceased’s cell phone, on Wednesday. The deceased’s cell phone and wallet were missing when his body was found on January 2.
BBS also learnt that the suspect had some of the belongings of the Radio Jockey.
Police had suspected foul play after they found bloodstain on the deceased’s forehead and an injury on the head. The police had said the death apparently occurred on New Year’s night.
The body was found in between Thimphu Thromde office and IMTRAT.
