Under the United Nations Development Assistance Framework, the UN has allocated approximately US$ 19M for the implementation of the government’s planned activities for 2016. Last year, the United Nations had given over US$ 14M to the government.
The planned activities constitute areas of health, education, good governance, gender mainstreaming, climate change mitigation, and rural empowerment, among others.
The assistance is aligned with the activities of the current five year plan.
