MP Tek Bahadur Subba asked the minister if the government has worked out recruitment plans for teachers. He said the two teacher training colleges of Samtse and Paro used to train teachers as per the requirement, in the past.
The Minister of Labour and Human Resources said since unemployment, coupled with many B.Ed graduates is finding it difficult to find a job, was a big concern, a joint committee was formed. The committee is to plan recruitment for the teachers for the next four years. He said it was planned for the sustainability of the recruitment of teachers in the future.

The graduates could also explore job opportunities in upcoming private schools and replace temporary teachers in existing teachers, according to the minister.
