Life insurance claims resumes in BartshamThe Dzongkhag Revenue Section in Trashigang has started paying life insurance claims for Bartsham Gewog after the gewog clerk deposited the insurance premium.

The clerk deposited the insurance premium on June 20. It was delayed by around two months. As a result, life insurance claims for four households in the gewog were delayed, causing inconvenience to the people.

The Gaydrung has been charged around Nu 4,800 for late deposit of the insurance premium.

The gewog and the dzongkhag administration are yet to decide on the kind of action to be taken against the Gaydrung.
