His Majesty grants audience to India’s Prime Minister

HM grants Audience to PM Modi- His Majesty the King granted audience to the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, at the Tashichhodzong later in the afternoon, today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was received in a traditional Chipdrel procession till the courtyard of Tashichhodzong.

Upon arriving at the courtyard, India’s Prime Minister was presented a guard of honour by the armed forces of Royal Bhutan Army, Royal Body Guard and Royal Bhutan Police and later, followed by the national anthem of two countries.

After the ceremony, Narendra Modi received an audience from the His Majesty the King.
