Ever since the launch of the Gelephu Mindfulness City, Bhutanese from all walks of life have been eager to find out how they can be part of this important nation-building project. That opportunity is now here. Starting today, the Gelephu Mindfulness City Authority will open a recruitment drive, inviting all talented & motivated Bhutanese professionals to be part of this journey. The recruitment will remain open until the end of this month.
At this early stage of GMC’s development, the Gelephu Mindfulness City Authority is offering a range of positions for Bhutanese professionals. These include roles for architects, engineers, urban planners, building & construction experts, international affairs & media officers, and business development & finance personnel.
These roles are important as the GMC Authority seeks to attract investments and move forward with various major projects, such as constructing a new international airport and developing the city’s first phase.
The current recruitment drive is open exclusively to Bhutanese citizens, both within and abroad.
“We want to create the right balance of Bhutanese and non-Bhutanese talents, but currently, our focus is on tapping into Bhutanese professionals,” said Louise Monger, Chief HR Officer, GMCA.
The main objective of this open recruitment is to ensure fairness and transparency in how job opportunities at the Gelephu Mindfulness City are shared. To give everyone equal access, all applications must be submitted through a single official channel.
“This recruitment process is an assurance for our talent that if you have the required competency, this is the only channel through which you can apply for GMCA vacancies,” added Louise Monger, Chief HR Officer, GMCA.
Applicants are required to submit their CVs and valid identification details through a secure online form. To access the form, simply scan the QR code or click the link provided on GMC’s official social media handles. Short-listed candidates will be invited for a one-to-one interview to assess their competencies and, if suitable, discuss employment terms & conditions.
Interested individuals are encouraged to follow GMC Authority’s official social media pages for updates and announcements. Even if applicants do not hear back from the GMC Authority, their applications will remain in the database and be reviewed regularly for future opportunities.
