Druk Phuensum Tshogpa declares three candidates

The Druk Phuensum Tshogpa has declared three more candidates for the upcoming National Assembly elections. The candidates will represent the party from constituencies in Sarpang, Trashigang and Tsirang districts.  

43-year-old Dechen Lhadon is the party’s candidate for the Gelephu constituency in Sarpang. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University.

Before joining the party, she served as the human resource manager at the Natural Resources and Development Corporation Limited.

 

 

 

 

Ugyen Dorji will represent the party from the Thrimshing constituency in Trashigang.

The 33-year-old has a Master of Environmental Engineering from Marwadi University in India. Before joining politics, he worked as an engineer in a private company.

 

 

 

 

And 43-year-old Sarvajit Rai will be the party’s candidate for the Sergithang-Tsirangtoed constituency in Tsirang.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from Kaplan Business School in Australia. Before joining politics, he served as the head of the development control division of the Thimphu Thromde.

So far, the party has declared 11 candidates for the upcoming National Assembly elections.
