Two students of class X and XII from one of the schools in Gelegphu went missing since September 22. The boys took leave from school and went to visit Sheti lake near Raidangra hilltop which is about six hours’ journey from Gelegphu town.

The boys reportedly lost their way while returning home. The parents of one of the boys said they could get in touch with their child today morning. According to them, the boys have made it to a riverside. For now, the parents have advised the boys to stay on the location and build a fire to enable the search team to locate them.

Police along with De-Suups and people from the community started looking for the boys after the parents informed the police on September 23. The police have deployed three search teams in the Sheti lake, Samtenthang village of Samtenling Gewog and the Tshachhu areas.
