An 11 years old girl drowned after she slipped in a pit measuring six feet at a new building construction site at Lungzor in Trashigang. The accident occurred yesterday at around 5:30pm. The police say no foul play is suspected.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to the victim’s stepfather after an inquest. The deceased is a student of Trashigang Middle Secondary School.
