A Professor from Thailand and an employee of Agriculture Machinery Center died in a vehicle accident yesterday. They were travelling to Thimphu from Haa when the vehicle veered off road and fell some 200 feet below the road. The incident occurred at around 3 pm at Jabana, some 55 kilometers from Chuzom towards Haa.
There were six people in the vehicle including four Thai nationals. The Thai nationals were the officials guests of the Agriculture Machinery Center in Paro. The four passengers are being treated at hospital in Haa. The cause of the accident is not known.
