New World Bank Resident Representative to Bhutan presents his credential to the Foreign Minister

The new World Bank Resident Representative to Bhutan, Adama Coulibaly (PhD), presented his credentials to the Foreign Minister yesterday, at a ceremony conducted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gyalyong Tshogkhang.

Adama Coulibaly (PhD) holds a doctorate in Development Economics from Howard University, in the USA. Prior to assuming the post, he was the Resident Representative of the World Bank to Sudan. He succeeds Yochiro Ishihara, who completed his term in February 2020.

The World Bank Resident Representative also called on the Prime Minister following the presentation of the credentials.
