The Dorji Lopen of the Central Monastic Body conferred dhar to two new lams and a principal in Punakha Dzong today.
Namgay Dorji, 47, from Chapcha in Chhukha is appointed as the new Principal of Mithrukpa Lhakhang in Thimphu.
42-year-old Tshering Dorji from Tsento in Paro is the new Lam of Karmaling Goenpa under Tsento Gewog in Paro.
And 44-year-old Thinley Penjor from Lobesa in Punakha is appointed as the new Lam of Kamji Lhakhang in Chhukha.
