As COVID-19 pandemic affected almost all the construction sectors in the country, the construction of the bridge along Damchhu-Haa link road is also facing the shortage of labours.

The contractor says the bridge was initially expected to complete by April but the shortage of labourers has hampered the works and the deadline could not be met. Nevertheless, the construction of the bridge is progressing well with the limited labour force.
